Information We Collect
Former Email Alert Subscribers
We no longer offer email alerts, and we no longer send alert emails. If you subscribed before the service was discontinued in October 2026, we still hold the email address, optional name and alert preferences you gave us. We do not share, sell, or rent them to any third party. You can have them deleted at any time — see Your Rights below.
IPO Comments
When you post a comment on an IPO detail page, we collect the display name and email you provide. Your email is not displayed publicly and is only stored for moderation purposes.
Allotment Status Check
When you check allotment status on our site, the PAN you enter is sent to the official registrar for that IPO to fetch your result, and the result is shown back to you. We keep a log of each check for troubleshooting; that log stores only a masked form of the PAN (for example ABC****4F), never the full number, and is deleted automatically after a limited retention period. For some registrars we instead link you to the registrar's own website, where you enter your details directly.
Signed-In Users
If you sign in with a social login provider, we store your display name, email address and the account identifier that provider gives us. If you choose to save PAN numbers to your account for quicker allotment checks, we store those PANs (with any label you add) against your account. You can remove a saved PAN at any time from the allotment page, and we never display saved PANs to anyone else.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- Application numbers, bank account or financial account details
- Demat account information
- Bank account or payment information
- Location data or device fingerprints
- Browsing history (we do not track your browsing activity across other websites)
Cookies
This website uses the following types of cookies:
- Authentication cookies — Used to keep you signed in if you log in. Visitors who do not sign in are not affected.
- Anti-forgery tokens — Used to protect form submissions (such as comments) from cross-site request forgery.

- Fetching your allotment status from the registrar when you ask for it

Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. Former subscribers' data is stored securely in our database, and the unsubscribe link in any email we sent you is unique to you.
Your Rights
- Unsubscribe — The one-click unsubscribe link in any alert email we sent you still works.
- Data deletion — Email alerts@ipocracker.com and we will delete your former subscriber data. You can remove saved PANs yourself from the allotment page.
- Access — You can contact us to inquire about what data we hold about you.
Third-Party Links
This website contains links to external websites including registrar portals, stock exchange websites, and broker platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external websites. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
Children's Privacy
This website is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
