Browsing IPOs by Sector

Grouping issues by sector is useful for one specific reason: an IPO is priced against its listed peers, not in isolation. The post-issue P/E that looks demanding for a commodity manufacturer may be conservative for a software business, and the only way to tell is to read the valuation alongside companies doing the same thing.

A sector view also exposes clustering. Issues from one industry often arrive together, because promoters and bankers time offerings to sector sentiment rather than to company readiness. A run of similar issues in a short window is a signal about the market's appetite, and it is worth asking whether you are being offered a business at its best moment or the sector at its most expensive.

Each issue's own page carries its peer comparison, financials and use of proceeds. See all IPOs → · Compare listing performance →

IPO investing carries risk of capital loss, allotment is not guaranteed, and grey market premium is an unofficial signal rather than a prediction. Nothing here is investment advice — read the offer document and consult a SEBI-registered adviser before committing capital.
