India's defence exports reach record high in FY 2025-26

Both Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs) and private companies contributed to this growth, with DPSUs accounting for 54.84% and the private sector contributing 45.16%. In value terms, DPSUs exported defence equipment worth Rs 21,071 crore, while private firms contributed Rs 17,353 crore. In FY 202425, these figures were Rs 8,389 crore for DPSUs and Rs 15,233 crore for private players.
